Our velvety Black Hole American Barleywine has been aged in dark-rum barrels for a year, soaking up a myriad of burnt sugar and spicy oak notes. Powerfully hopped with resinous and piney hops Columbus and Liberty, bitterness is ever present but rarely dominant against the chewy deluge of caramelly rich malt notes due to a lengthy boil phase. Best enjoyed sipped around an open fire in the chill.
